Ordering & Shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on all orders — no minimum.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Delivery typically takes 15–25 days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. See our Shipping & Delivery page for details.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes — contact us within 12 hours of placing your order and we'll update or cancel it free of charge. After that, the order may already be in fulfillment.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept PayPal, which also lets you pay securely with major credit and debit cards without a PayPal account.

Which fan size do I need for my room?
It depends on your room's size — see our Size Guide for a simple chart matching fan diameter to room area.
How quiet are Vanelum fans?
All models use DC motors with precision-balanced blades. On low speeds they operate at whisper level — quiet enough for sleeping. Maximum noise at top speed stays around 42dB, comparable to a quiet library.
Do the fans work in winter?
Yes. Every model has a reversible motor: forward (counter-clockwise) pushes cool air down in summer; reverse (clockwise) gently recirculates warm air trapped at the ceiling in winter.
Can I dim the light or change the color temperature?
Models with integrated lights support dimming via the included remote. Selected models offer tri-color adjustment (warm / neutral / cool). If you need a specific lighting configuration, contact us before ordering and we'll confirm availability for your chosen model.
What voltage do your fans use? Will they work in my country?
Our fans are produced in multiple voltage configurations. Before your order ships, we confirm the correct voltage specification for your delivery address (e.g. 110–120V for the US and Canada, 220–240V for most of Europe, Asia and Oceania). If you have any doubt, contact us with your country and we'll confirm compatibility.
Are the outdoor models weatherproof?
The Haven and Heritage outdoor models are designed for covered outdoor spaces such as balconies, patios, and pavilions. They should not be installed where they are directly exposed to rain. Contact us for the rating details of a specific model.
Installation
Can I install the fan myself?
If you have experience with electrical fixtures, installation is straightforward — see our Installation Guide. For safety, we recommend hiring a licensed electrician, especially for sloped ceilings or rooms without an existing ceiling fixture.
Does the fan work on sloped or vaulted ceilings?
Yes — an angled mounting adapter is available for sloped installations. Check the product page or contact us to confirm compatibility for your ceiling pitch.
Returns & Warranty
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Contact us at support@vanelum.com to start a return.
What warranty do you offer?
Every Vanelum fan includes a 2-year warranty on the motor and a 1-year warranty on parts and accessories (remote, light kit, hardware). The warranty covers manufacturing defects; it does not cover damage from improper installation or misuse.
What if my fan arrives damaged?
Take photos of the packaging and the damaged part and email us within 48 hours of delivery. We'll ship a replacement part or a full replacement at no cost.
